The Sheriff store has a replica of the one-of-a-kind Armor Chassis vest (literally, “Armor Chassis”). The first generation of this model was born in the mid-2000s and made a splash.
It is still called revolutionary. The release of a vest in this design was necessary, because the fighters all the time had to choose between maneuverability and safety. Armor Chassis combines these qualities with a shorter vest base and increased overall protection area. There were many innovations, for example, the chassis, which meant solid side parts in which armored packages were fixed, without the possibility of somehow removing them from the case.
Now this vest is actually a base, a frame for installing and transferring armor plates. This version is well suited for team military sports competitions such as airsoft (airsoft), hardball and the like. However, if you wish, you can also insert real armor plates.
The vest, as already mentioned, has a large overall area of protection, including strong panels to protect the shoulders. Interestingly, pockets for ballistic plates are located - outside, and not inside the vest, as is customary in most models. Comes with damper rubber bushings.
The front plate is somewhat wider than the dorsal one, so for convenience it is fixed on the sides with two fastex straps. Thiso helps her not to stick out, but relatively close to the body.
Perhaps the external placement of the plates is for the best, since when hit, the body will be easier to endure the impact thanks to the shock-absorbing pads inside the vest. In addition, they have another purpose - an ergonomic fit and passive ventilation. They can be removed, because they are fastened with Velcro.
The vest is also quite easy to remove thanks to the same Velcro.
