1. The development of body armor as a means of protection
Bulletproof vests belong to the means of personal armor protection of a fighter for a very long time. They became known by the 16th century, when large plate metal armor was used, which provided some degree of protection against firearms of the time. Later, from the 17th century, cuirasses were already created, they were tested for strength with a pistol shot at close range, and they could also reflect a shot from light guns under certain conditions. 2. Modern body armor
Today, bulletproof vests most often consist of two canvases connected on the sides (chest and dorsal), have a traditional type of vest and provide protection against any chemical weapons , firearms and shell fragments.
