2. Detailed description of the new uniform of the Ukrainian army:
In 2014, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved a new military uniform.
The new form should have a pixelated (digital) patternTo ACU or UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern), also called ACU Pattern (ACUPAT). This coloration is a versatile camouflage for any terrain and consists of spots with stepped edges in 3 colors: gray, tan and green. The winter uniform of the Ukrainian army consists of a jacket and trousers. The presented model (see the version of the uniform in the photo) was specially designed for the fighters of the Kyiv-1 battalion and as close as possible to the uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, approved by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, except for the manufacturing fabric.
Winter suit "Kiev-1" is made of raincoat Ripstop mixed fabric, which has a number of advantages over the officially accepted "Greta". Ripstop is the main material for the production of camouflage uniforms in the US and many European countries. This is a very durable fabric of twill weave of reinforced threads, synthetic and cotton Filokon. The fabric is very light and in case of damage, the reinforced "frame" prevents the area of rupture from increasing. Ripstop dries quickly, does not rot, is resistant to sunlight, is washable, does not catch fire when struck by a spark, does not wrinkle, and is resistant to abrasion. The fabric does not roll, prevents moisture from entering the product, is soft and does not make noise when moving.
The jacket is insulated with a fleece lining on a padding polyester. The hood is removable, also has a fleece lining, fastens with Velcro ("Velcro"). On the back of the hoodThere are straps to adjust its position. The jacket is fastened with a zipper hidden under a Velcro flap. The sleeves are insulated with a polyester lining, they have large beveled pockets with Velcro panels for hanging recognition marks. A wide stand-collar prevents body armor from chafing the neck and protects against wind, dust and dirt. Inside the jacket there is a drawstring that helps to tighten it according to the figure to prevent puffing. There are 4 large flat patch pockets that haveThere are special folds that increase volume. The lining also has a large camouflage pocket that can be used for important documents or a soldier's personal belongings. Velcro adjustable cuffs.
Pants are fastened with a zipper and a Canadian button. Like the jacket, they are lined with fleece. The upper pockets are voluminous with vertical access, which prevents items from falling out, regardless of the position of the fighter. The lower ones are overhead with a hidden volume. There are inserts on the belt for threading the belt.
