*This is the color scheme used by British soldiers during desert operations before the modern MTP camouflage uniform was introduced. It is based on only 2 colors: brown and sand. In colloquial speech, the pattern is called “rust and sand”. DPM DESERT camouflage was first tested in the late 80s. Initially, it included 3 shades of the desert palette + Khaki. But in the 90s, they decided to stop at the two-color version, in which a real T-shirt is framed. The reason for this decision is a bit ridiculous. The point is that inwhile Britain was selling extra uniforms to Iraq. And when a conflict broke out between the states, it was difficult for the soldiers to figure out who was from which camp. So I had to remove 2 colors from the picture.
