The bulletproof vest in its basic modification (without the addition of hard plates) contains 25 layers of aramid fiber fabric, this is a highly functional chemical fiber of a new generation and a leadingara-aramid product. It is lighter than Kevlar and Twaron and has a unique combination of mechanical properties, chemical inertness, heat resistance and durability.
