HAGOR Robo bulletproof vest technical specifications
HAGOR Robo refers to concealed wear vests, also known as vests. Differs in flexibility and plasticity, adjoins to a body, such vest can be worn, and putting it on over clothes, and absolutely secretly, under clothes.
BallistThe protective plate ic fabric in the basic modification of the vest consists of 24 layers of Goldflex material - this is a modern chemical fiber produced based on Kevlar production technology, but somewhat cheaper. The main manufacturer of Goldflex is the American company Honeywell. Occasionally, multiple materials may be used in one product.
Properties of Goldflex: This material is sensitive to chemical and ultraviolet attack. It is afraid of acids and alkalis, the material “ages” from the sun. Goldflex has the ability to accumulate instatic electricity.
This aramid fiber is much lighter than Kevlar, is non-flammable, and can withstand high melting points, around 500 °C. This is a laminated special fabric, which consists of cross-crossed fibers. The bullet hits a dense network of aramid fibers, in which it gets stuck, like in a web. The fibers are strong enough not to miss the bullet and "repay" the blow. Thus, the main task is performed - to absorb and dissipate the energy of the bullet. This process continues until the bullet stops completely. All layersThis fabric is glued together, together they form a thickness sufficient to protect against the complete destruction of body armor, and help reduce the risk of blunt trauma to internal organs.
The vest provides all-round protection - front, back and sides, fastens with comfortable Velcro, the size is adjustable in four places.
This model is made in accordance with the standards of the National Institute of Justice of the United States (NIJ Standard-0101.04 - standard for ballistic vests).
HAGOR Robo body armor modification
Basic vest (Without the addition of hard plates) it has a protection class II, that is, it successfully resists the main types of pistol bullets, as well as shrapnel and shots from carbines.
The level of protection of the used HAGOR Robo vest can be increased to level III-IV according to the American NIJ classification by adding the appropriate armor packages. Level III ballistic panels according to this classification are protection against fragmentation grenades, rifle bullets of 7.62 mm and 5.56 mm caliber. Panels IV - protect against bullets fired from automatic weapons.
