How to use the M-6 multi-function rescue sling
The presence of large loops on the medical sling makes it possible to use several methods for evacuating the wounded. The simplest is to hook on a special loop on the equipment or on the self-snara feeling when there is none. If the victim is conscious and able to move, the end of the sling with a carabiner can be thrown to him from the shelter so that he fastens himself and pulls him up. If the wounded is immobilized, the loops are laid in a figure eight, secured with a carbine and the hands or feet of the fighter are threaded into them (depending on the direction of evacuation). In this way, you can pull a person out of the recesses (equipment, mines, blockages).
When the wounded needs to be moved, do the following: sanitary sling is connected into one large circle of a carabinerom, threaded from the back under the arms of the victim, wrapped around the legs in one turn, starting from the inside of the thigh. The freed end of the loop is thrown behind the neck, resulting in 2 large handles. Each must be passed under the tape that runs along the body (from the neck to the groin), on the corresponding side. Two rescuers can take them, or one, using the handles as shoulder straps to carry the wounded on his back.
