What should you do if someone is bitten by a snake in front of your eyes?
The first thing to do is immobilize the limb. And even better if the victim is in positionlying on a flat surface. A tourniquet is applied above the site of the snake bite (for a maximum of 2 hours). Then something cold is applied. It could be a flask of water.
If possible, give the victim an antiallergic drug. For example, calcium gluconate is stabilized. The victim must drink a lot. Strong tea will do. But alcohol should not be taken, as it makes it difficult to remove the poison from the body.
A person who has been bitten by a snake must be sent to the hospital. If there are difficulties with this (stayeco in the forest, in the mountains), you will have to suck out the poison yourself. This must be done within 10-15 minutes from the moment of defeat. The tourniquet is not applied in this case.
Before suction, the skin around the wound must be squeezed. If there is no first aid kit with a pump at hand, you can suck it with your mouth - usually in 5-10 doses, constantly spitting out poison and blood. After suction, the mouth must be rinsed.
Next, an aseptic bandage is applied to the wound.
According to many experts, it is impossible to make incisions, since suchmuscle can be damaged. It is also forbidden to cauterize the wound with anything.
