QuikClot is intended for use by healthcare professionals, first responders, law enforcement, consumers and the military. QuikClot is the only hemostatic agent recommended by the Department of Defense for all branches of the US military for heavy bleeding on the battlefield.

Instructions for use:

1. Pull the hemostatic dressing out of the package and place it on the sterile area using sterile technique.
2. Place a hemostatic dressing on the wound and use it with manual compression directly on the source of bleeding. More than one dressing may be required.
3. Continue to apply pressure for 3 minutes or until bleeding stops.
4. The hemostatic bandage can be left in place for up to 24 hours. To remove, carefully remove the bandage and carefullyWash the wound thoroughly.

Precautions:

Use only as directed. For external use only. Sterility is not guaranteed in cases of damaged or opened packaging. Do not use if package is damaged. Avoid contact with eyes. Use sterile instruments. Single use. Not re-sterilizable. Store in a dry place. Do not store near heat sources.
