Quiet cartridges with cylindrical brass cases and lead bullets. Originally developed in 1842 by the Parisian gunsmith Flaubert for "room" shooting.
Initially, they did not have a powder charge. In the fold forming the sleeve flange, there was only a flammable composition. The first cartridges had a lead spherical bullet, later they began to add a small charge of gunpowder to the sleeve and use a conical bullet.
Cartridge RWS 4mm Flobert kurz (Short) refers to a "shortened" variety with a cylindrical gilIzu with a height of 6.6 mm (diameters of the flange and body are 6.1 mm and 4.65 mm, respectively). It is equipped with a spherical lead bullet with a diameter of 4.3 mm.
An excellent choice for a 4mm Flobert revolver.
