Description:
Consistent image quality across the field of view
The resolution of the CF-Super image intensifier tube is constant (the drop in resolution from the center to the edge does not exceed 20%, while the difference between the resolution in the center and the resolution along the edge for night devices on the 1st generation image intensifier tube usually differsfive or more times)
Image intensifier light protection
Edge GS devices are equipped with a system for protecting the electron-optical converter from backlight (when the threshold level of illumination is exceeded, the current supply to the image intensifier is automatically reduced or stopped)
"Effective" field of view
The high resolution and geometric accuracy of the image provided by night vision devices built using CF-Super technology allows for effective observation of an object located at any point in the device’s field of view
IntegratedLaser IR illuminator
The L models in the Edge GS binoculars are equipped with a laser IR illuminator (Laser Safety Class 1). The IR illuminator emits at a wavelength of 780 nm and allows you to effectively use the device in complete darkness to observe distant objects.
Eyepiece
The five-lens eyepiece with a beveled rubber eyecup provides high-quality images across the entire field of view, high clarity and contrast. The position of the eyecup remains unchanged when the eyepiece is rotated.
Rugged sealed boxThe housing made of metal and plastic is able to effectively withstand shock, moisture and dust, which allows the device to be used in extreme conditions.
Controls
Turning on the device and the infrared illuminator is done by pressing the corresponding buttons (ON and IR) located at the top. Additionally, HB Edge devices have the function of smooth adjustment of the power of the IR illuminator.
Rubber eyecup
A soft rubber eyecup masks the glow of the image intensifier tube, which allows the observer to remain unnoticed.
