Ballistic Illm LaserScope User's Guide
The Ballistic Ill LaserScope is the most innovative and effective hunting rifle scope in the world. It uses outstanding performance optics with point laser ranging and trajectory accuracy compensation according to the ammunition used, so the hunter does not have to take into account many variables and do the calculations himself, due to mistakes in which they often return home without prey. In one quick workflow, the Ballistic III sight measures the distance to your target, determines the factors that affect the trajectory, and displays an accurate set-out mark. It is so simple!
The Ballistic III riflescope is the ideal choice for the hunter, as its excellent optics greatly increase the range and accuracy of long-range rifles, as well as expand the choice of cartridges. No other rifle scope combines thisTh level of quality, high technology, accuracy, stability, speed and efficiency. It will significantly increase the distance from which you can make an accurate shot.
Ballistic III Basics
1.In this scope, the pinpoint and wind adjustment functions work at all magnifications.
2. Use the center of the crosshair to determine the range.
3. The luminous aiming dot will glow for approximately 90 seconds. If you haven't fired in this timeand the dot goes out, you will have to measure the distance to the target again using the center crosshair.
4. During normal operation, the brightness of the reticle illumination can be increased by pressing the up arrow button and decreased by pressing the down arrow button.
5. As with all rangefinders, several factors can cause the Ballistic III scope to be unable to determine the distance to the target. These factors include obstacles between the scope and the target (such as grass, branches, or leaves; rain, snow, fog, or other particles in the air); contamination on the objective lens; low ability of the target to reflect the laser beam back into the scope, weapon shaking in the hands, long distance to the target, or low battery level (or any combination of these factors).
6. Parallax adjustment does not affect the range accuracy in any way. Adjust the parallax for approximate range for best results when shooting at long range.
7. If you have set up the sight for a specific type of cartridges, but you cannot determine the distance forabout the target, then in the range zone on the screen the sight will show 4 horizontal
dashes and up to 12 glowing dots that serve as a "custom" ballistic reticle that is precisely calibrated for your type of ammo. A dot will be displayed for every 100 units of available range, starting at 100.
8. If your Ballistic Ill doesn't seem to be working properly, it's likely that the battery needs to be replaced. First extract the existing
battery, put it back in and check if it works. If it's not mouthproblem, replace the battery.
9. If the Ballistic III LaserScope indicates range beyond the reticle's ability to compensate for descent, the four lower dots will flash to indicate that the target is outside the reticle's ability.

Storage:
As with any other electronic device, it is recommendedIt is recommended to remove the battery when storing the riflescope for a long time. During storage or transport, ensure that the main switch on the Ballistic III riflescope and the button on the remote transmitter cannot be accidentally pressed, otherwise the battery will run out even if you are not using the riflescope.
Use, maintenance and care of the scope:
Your Burris riflescope is serviceable for its lifetime, provided it is properly cared for and handled. The only mandatory proceduremaintenance is the periodic cleaning of the outer surface of the sight and external lenses.
All moving parts do not require additional lubrication.
To protect the lenses of the sight from dirt, dust, fluff and moisture, use appropriate covers. The adjustment system is watertight even when the handwheel caps are removed, but they must always be fitted tightly in place to prevent dust and dirt from entering the mechanical system. Before cleaning lenses, brush them with a soft brush or blow clean air, ideallyfrom a can of compressed air. This will: remove large particles that can scratch the surface if wiped with pressure.
It is forbidden to disassemble the scope.
