Description of the clumsy knife Grand Way 9804 C

The blade (120 mm) and the handle (110 mm) are fixedly connected and are on the same line. Between them is a fairly large limiter in the form of curved arms. It prevents fromslipping of the user's fingers from the handle onto the blade.
The AISI 420 martensitic steel, from which the cutting part of the Grand Way 9804 C knife is made, has been hardened by heat treatment. It has optimum impact strength and wear resistance. At high temperatures, as well as under the influence of moisture, it resists oxidation. Hardness: 55-56 HRC (well balanced). Since the metal is ductile, it will be possible to avoid crumbling the blade. With a side load, a 2.5 mm thick blade should not break or bend.
Butt goes down, tho comfortable when piercing. On the front of it there is a "false blade" formed by descents without sharpening.
The surface of the blade is polished to a mirror finish.
Factory sharpening is smooth. Tourist knife will keep it for a long time, and it will accept a new one very easily. In the field, you can use a regular stone for this, or even easier use a pocket sharpener like Lansky Quick Edge.
The handle is covered with brown plastic “rings” with a ribbed finish.porosity, between which grooves are made. This design improves grip. In a wet hand, the Grand Way knife is almost non-slip.
For its storage and safe transfer, a sheath made of black synthetic fabric is provided - rigid (does not bend), strong, waterproof, resistant to piercing and cutting. The edges of the cover, so as not to fray and look neat, are edged with a wide ribbon. Its top is open. The blade is tightly fixed in the sheath. The handle is held by a strap on the button.
real mIt doesn't hurt to have an extra sheath for a knife. We suggest paying attention to leather scabbard – a recognized classic (by the way, a great option for gift to the hunter!).
