Description and characteristics:
The Leatherman Super Tool 300 is built for hard work!
The model is designed for hard and harsh use.
Reinforced handles and tool holders.
Pliers - the most powerful and strong, designed for even greater strength. Powerful cutters, the plates of which can now be replaced if necessary.
Steel cable cutters, electric ferrule crimping, four screwdrivers, an awl - all these additions make the Super Tool 300 multitool indispensable!
Removing and replacing blades is very easy. The blades are secured with Torx T8 screws. Thread lock must be applied to the screw.
Also on the pliers (at the base on the side of the handles) there areSteel cable lugs and a crimper that can be used to strip wires.
In work, the pliers showed their best side.
The box of the multi-tool, which forms the handles, is now rolled up - nothing crashes into the hand. The pliers are laid out quite easily and confidently fixed in the open position. The frame of the multitool at the base of the pliers works like a spring, keeping the handles from folding. The ballisong effect is not observed - the multitool is moderately tightened on the axles. With one handpliers are convenient to open, both by shaking, followed by fine-tuning, or simply with a brush.
The end tools are taken out separately (serrator, plane, saw and file).
All averages are taken out in a package and the necessary tool is already pulled out of this package.
A very good addition is a large cutout in the multitool box on the side of the blades, for convenient and quick removal, and a wide groove on the blades themselves. Also, both blades are additionally fixed in the closedthat position, according to the principle of locks in liner locks.
Plain blade, serrated blade, saw and file were made as long as possible.
The blades are very convenient to bring into position in gloves, even with one finger. The file is double-sided with a coarse cruciform notch and a smaller oblique cut. On one of the faces there is also a notch, and it acts as a hacksaw for metal. And a file and a hacksaw for metal can handle ordinary rolled metal quite confidently. Hardened rods and self-tapping screws are also within their power.
Saw on wood. A tooth with a height of 2 mm and a step of 2 mm is directed to the handle, so the saw does not “jump” when moving away from itself, and when moving towards itself, the entire efficiency of the blade is used. The thickness of the saw along the butt is less than the thickness along the teeth, therefore jamming of the saw in the material is excluded.
