What is the 2x afocal telescopic attachment for and how to use it
It was developed specifically for use in conjunction with the Yukon Challenger GS 1x20 night vision device. The purpose is to increase the ability of the monocular to double the image, which allows you to examine the object of observation in more detail.

Telescope AttachmentThe chek is equipped with two protective caps - front and rear. They must be removed before use. The accessory is attached to the night vision device by screwing it on the thread, which is on the inside of the lens. You need to twist from left to right until it stops, holding the lens body with your hand. The screw connections of both optical elements must match exactly. Try to avoid distortion. This is easier to achieve if the nozzle is turned a little in the opposite direction, and then again clockwise.
When installation is complete, you can further focus the lens as needed.
The nozzle is unscrewed only after the night vision device is turned off. Be sure to put on protective caps to protect it from dust, dampness and mechanical damage. By the way, the corresponding cap is also available for the monocular lens. It must also be put on after the end of the device.

The inner surface of the Pulsar 2x Telescopic Nozzle is not filled with nitrogenm or argon, therefore it is prone to fogging when it enters a heated room from the street in winter / autumn. In this case, this is normal. Condensation that forms on the lens will disappear on its own within about an hour.
Nozzle care is simple. Its body, if dirty, can be wiped with a cloth soaked in a conventional synthetic detergent. Dust from the surface of the optical glass is removed with a brush with soft bristles. Stubborn stains on the lens are wiped off with a napkin, preferably from a soft cotton cloth. For herimpregnation, it is recommended to use a special agent for the treatment of optical surfaces. It is also permissible to use ethyl alcohol, but in a reasonable amount and only on a napkin. Do not pour alcohol directly on the lens!
