8X40 - BASSELL - eight-fold field binoculars designed to observe objects of living and inanimate nature remote from the observer. This model is universal and perfect for tourists, hunters and fishermen.
The guarantee of a high-quality, stable picture is the optical scheme of the porro, which is the basis of the binoculars and the prisms of the device, made of high-transparency optical glass BK-7. The binoculars' 40mm entrance lenses are capable of collecting enough light for observation even inconditions of insufficient lighting (twilight or dawn), which is achieved through the use of a multi-layer antireflection coating. To reduce light loss, the body of the binoculars is blackened inside.
