Due to chromium, which is part of it - 13%, upon contact with oxygen, a dense film appears on the surface of the metal, protecting the deep layers from corrosion.
The blade is treated with abrasive tools (satin finish). Stainless steel with such polishing takes on a "satin" look.
The knife is double-edged (sharpening on both sides), well balanced in the center. Very sharp tip. There are finger rests. The handle is not equipped with overlays or guards. In the hand, despite its modest size, it fits comfortably.
NThrowing sledges F 019 are folded into a case. It is quite rigid, soundly sewn from dense synthetic fabric, does not bend. The edges are edged and stitched with strong threads. A separate cell is provided for each knife. Tools stack compactly, one above the other. In order not to fall out of the case, an additional lock is provided - two straps fastened with Velcro.
A vertical loop is sewn on the back of the case, allowing it to be hung on trouser belt.
