S-27 is a medium-sized model of a city knife for everyday wear. The knife is lightweight and fits perfectly in the pocket, thanks to the two-position deep clip.
The lock on the S-27 knife is a reliable axis lock, the locking pin of which has excellent smoothness.
Sharpening a knife out of the box does not require fine-tuning - the knife is able to cut paper on weight and shave. The thickness of the blade along the butt is approximately 3.5 mm, the descents are straight from the butt. Blade steel - stainless 8Cr13MoV. Handle - steel liners and grips in G-10 in military green. Blade processing - transverse satin.
On the butt of the blade, closer to the handle, there is a non-aggressive notch for the thumb (where it is convenient to rest it when working). In general, the ergonomics of the knife is at its best, it does not press or press anything, the G10 is of high quality, chamfered wherever necessary. A small amount of mounting hardware - screws for dies, bonnets - does not reduce the rigidity and reliability of the handle design. Perhaps the only minus of the knife is the ability to have the clip in two positions.
The knife has excellent mechanics. The blade folds under its own weight, which is ensured by the use of brass washers on the axis of the blade. There were no backlashes or shats of the blade. The lock perfectly holds even blows with a butt. Why this “barbaric” test was invented is not entirely clear, in life it is even difficult to imagine a situation in which a knife would have to be used in this way. But, nevertheless, in this matter the knife is "well done"
