Fountain - fireworks , creating an effect similar to the sparkling spray of a fountain. Cake candles are decorative decorations for a birthday cake.

Structurally, the fountain is a cardboard case into which a pyrotechnic composition is pressed. When the composition is ignited, it burns, throwing a sheaf of sparks through the nozzle to various heights.

Distinguish household fountains and professional.

To use household fountains, no special knowledge is required and no special equipment is required. It is enough to read and follow the instructions on the package.

Professional fountains are intended for use by pyrotechnicians with specialized knowledge and appropriate equipment.

The launch of domestic fountains is carried out by igniting the wick, which transmits the flame to the pyrotechnic (sparkling) composition. The launch of professional fountains, as a rule, is carried out remotely using electric igniters - from electric current.

There are also so-called. "hot" fountains (street) and conditionally "cold" (stage). Conditionally cold means fountains for indoor use. Cold fountains have a much lower temperature of sparks and the main difference is that they emit less smell and smoke. Cold fountains are for professional use only. To start them, an electric igniter is usually used.

There are also ordinary fountains and force fountains. Force fountains have a reactive power, which allows them to be used by professional pyrotechnicians to create various dynamic, usually rotating, figures. All force fountains are classified as hot and can only be used outdoors.

In appearance, there are conical and cylindrical fountains. Household fountains are usually produced in a conical shape, while professional fountains are cylindrical.
