Performance of a shovel pouch
The model was designed to carry a shovel with the blade up (so drain holes with grommets are not suitable)provided). Hanging on belt, backpack, RPS and other equipment is carried out using the Molle interface, which is represented by three rows of transverse cells and two vertical harnesses. The latter do not have buttons, they are fixed by threading the end bent with a “tail” under the lower strap. To make it easier to remove the pouch, small loops are sewn on the harnesses.

The case is made of heavy-duty double material that cannot be cut, torn or leaked.There are sharpened edges of the MPL steel tray. The edges are edged with a wide dense sling. The transparent polyurethane film covering the fabric improved its resistance to wear and decay, and also endowed it with dirt-repellent properties. With a sharp temperature drop, the coating will not allow shrinkage or stretching of the material, and it will not be damaged due to its tight adhesion to the plain weave.
One of the main advantages of the field cover PNL-1 is its ability to keep water out. Raindrops do not seep betweencurls, but roll off the surface of the fabric. This property of the pouch protects the steel blade from corrosion.
