The Mazepinka headdress consists of band, rolled-up patches, wedge front, peak, embossed insignia and cockade. The band is sewn together from 8 wedges in such a way that creates the bottom of the headdress. The upper part of the band is 10–20 mm narrower than the lower part. ClientThey are sewn in such a way that they converge exactly in the middle of the bottom of the garment. The height of the band from bottom to top is 7 cm in the front part, the back part of the band is 1 cm less. The overlays are sewn to the band in the lower part and have a wedge-shaped cutout in front. The top of the wedge cut is 6 cm apart. A darkened button with a diameter of 14 mm is sewn at the bottom of the cutout. The headdress is made from the same fabric as the uniform, edgesIt is made from fabric in a color accepted as a badge of distinction in a uniform. The side cockade has an embossed unit or regiment number for infantry, artillery, cavalry and rear troops. The front cockade is 2.5 cm in diameter, silver for enlisted and middle command personnel and golden for higher command personnel. The visor is sewn from canvas.
